Service Description
Step into a world of imagination and invention at Studio Ember’s Cardboard Arcade camp! Throughout the week, campers will design and build their own interactive arcade games, creative structures, and playful inventions using cardboard and a variety of art materials. From skee-ball and pinball-style games to imaginative creations of their own design, students will explore problem-solving, engineering, and artistic expression in a hands-on, collaborative environment. Each day includes a mix of guided building challenges and open studio time, giving campers the freedom to experiment, iterate, and personalize their creations. The week culminates in a one-of-a-kind arcade experience, and grown-ups are invited (but not required) to join us for a special end-of-week showcase where campers can share their creations and reflect on what they’ve learned. This camp is perfect for curious creators who love to build, tinker, and think outside the box. *Studio doors will open 5–10 minutes before the start time to allow for a smooth check-in and drop-off. We appreciate your understanding that we’re not able to open earlier as we prepare the space for the day’s activities. *Morning and afternoon snacks are provided each day (campers can bring their own if they prefer). Participants should bring a packed lunch and a water bottle, and come dressed for creativity—art-making can get messy!
